July Summer Events

This is your reminder that there are so many wonderful events happening in Helena this summer. Here are a couple of ‘not to miss’ events happening around town:

LAST CHANCE STREET DANCE | Thursday, July 11th from 5:30 – 10 pm 

Join the first-ever Last Chance Street Dance in downtown Helena from 5:30-10 p.m. Enjoy food trucks, art vendors, balloon tying, ax throwing, and beer gardens. Downtown businesses will stay open late. Performances by Under the Bleachers, Ten Years Gone, and the Tiernan Irish Dancers will light up Last Chance Gulch and Lawrence Street. Bring your dancing shoes and a lawn chair—enjoy summer in Helena!

ARCHIE’S AVANT GARDEN PARTY | Thursday, July 18th from 6 – 9 pm

SUMMER ART WALK | Friday, July 19th from 4-8 pm

SYMPHONY UNDER THE STARS | Saturday, July 20th at 8:30 pm 

One of our favorite summer events—live music, community, and supporting local non-profits. Held on the Carroll College lawn, this year’s theme is The Music of Tina Turner. The concert includes a fireworks finale and attracts over 16,000 people. Bring non-perishable goods to hold down blankets and donate them to Helena Food Share. MONTANA CLAY TOUR | July 20th & 21st from 10 am – 4 pm 

The Montana Clay Tour in Helena unites ceramic artists from across the state. Five host studios open their doors to showcase local and statewide talent, celebrating beauty, craftsmanship, and community. This event creates meaningful connections and enriches communities by inviting the public into studios to share and celebrate handmade ceramics. Learn more: https://www.montanaclaytour.com/ 

LAST CHANCE STAMPEDE & FAIR | Rodeo: July 25th – 27th starting at 7pm, Fair: July 24th-27th starting at 5pm on the 24th and at 2pm the following days The Last Chance Stampede and Fair runs from July 24 to 27 at the fairgrounds and offers a range of entertainment for everyone to enjoy. Highlights include the PRCA Pro Rodeo, a concert series closing with Flo Rida, Mutton Bustin’ and Steer Riding, the Dreamland Carnival with games, rides, and treats, and to finish off the weekend, the Stampede Parade.
